Rumor Alert: iPhone 5

There have been rumors flying around the internet about the iPhone 5. It is my pleasure to give a brief summery of some of these rumors. The dates below have links to the website for the full story if you are interested!

• July 30th, 2012 - iPhone 5 footage released by a Japanese site, Macotakara. The rumors and images are consistent with previous such as longer, taller display, a smaller dock connector port, relocation of headphone jack and a new, sleek back plate.
• July 27th, 2012 - Embedded NFC chip in order to control TVs, cameras and DVRs.
  A smaller dock is going to be used to make space for more items.
• July 24th, 2012 - Conference call about a 'new fall product release'.
• July 23th, 2012 - The new dock will be shrunk from 30 pins to a 19 pin connector in order to give room for the headphone jack on the bottom of the phone.
• July 22th, 2012 - Leaks of production have already started by the manufacturing company, Pegatron.
• July 19, 2012 - Verizon CFO has leaked that a possible 'huge' release will take place in the fall...
• July 18th, 2012 - New case designs have been popping up around the internet.
• July 17th, 2012 - Single layer touch screen to incorporate a LCD and touch sensors in a single, thinner screen.
• July 15th, 2012 - Taller, thinner phone with centered camera, allowing for a 4 inch screen.

Which iPhone 4S Cellular Plan is the cheapest?

So you want to pre-order the new iPhone 4S. But you also want to save some money because hell... you know its still a rescission so which plan and carrier do you go with. Well doing alittle research, I came up with the following:

AT&T: Offers the cheapest plans with roll over minutes, but you have to pay $15 for 200MB and $25 for 2GB for a data plan. So if you don't use that much data/are in wifi range, you should be good
Verizon: Offers the best among service and satisfaction. Kinda pricy with the plans tho.
Sprint: Unlimited data that isn't caped. Spotty service in certain areas.

The Plans:
Sprint offers the best plans with unlimited data and a decent amount of minutes for under $80 bucks. While AT&T doesn't have unlimited data, they do have lower rates for minutes so you could get just 200MB data and a few hundred minutes for under $50 bucks. Verizon does have variable texting plans where AT&T require a pay as you go or unlimited for $20. So if you don't use much data and want a smaller texting package, then Verizon will save you some cash.

iPhone 4S - Most Successful Preorder EVER

Have you pre-ordered the new iPhone 4S yet?!?!? (See here: Click) Pre-orders started on Friday and boy was there a rush. Hundreds of thousands of preorders flooded the lines from all around the world, boosting Apples reputation after the great lose of Steve Jobs.
AT&T had over 200,000 preorders in the first 12 hours alone while Verizon said they were also seeing a huge demand for the new phone and their systems were "humming" since the start.
I believe this first impression reaction for the new iPhone is going to be the make or break for Apple. With the lose of Steve Jobs along with the economy, people need reassurance that this phone will make live easier in the time of distress. Plus it is key for Apple as the smartphones are the single largest production category by revenue. Analysts have estimated 25 million iPhone 4S will be sold before the start of the new year. Apple iPhone 4s Offical Release!

Wait... no iPhone 5... WTF!?!? Anyways.... Apple has officially held a press conference earlier today about their release of the iPhone 4S. So here are the details:

1. Has the new A5 processor, similar chip found in the iPad 2. It offers twice the speed to the older chip and 7x the performance according to Apple.
2. 8 megapixal camera with 1080p video.
3. Close to 4G download speeds with the new antenna that wouldn't have issues like the previous versions did.
4. Battery life to allow for talk time of about 8 hours.
5. Siri like voice command personal assistance for texting and other functions.
6. The iOS 5 with over 200 features available
7. The iCloud which will allow you to upload and sync all your files and music to all your devices from anywhere.

So it looks pretty much like the iPhone 4 (no surprise there). With the same prices left for the 16GB - $199.99, 32GB - $299.99, and 64 GB - $399.99.

Last Minute iPhone 5 Release Date: 10 Important Leaks

T-minus 48 hours until the "Let's talk iPhone" event and rumors are still booming. This Tuesday, 10/4/2011, Apple will clear up all of these rumors and announce when this bad boy will be released to the wild.
So here are the top ten (10) most important things to know about the release and Apple:

1. The iPhone 5 is right on Apple's scheduled release time.
   - There have been buzz among the press that the Apple iPhone 5 was and has been delayed. Due to no official release, the iPhone 5 is right on schedule.
2. The iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S will be unveiled at the event.
   - So many people are speculating that only one iPhone will be released but due to multiple sources, it has been strongly confirmed that both versions will be released.
3. The iPhone 5 will have a larger screen
   - Everyone must have seen a billion fake iPhone 5 pictures flying around with it having a huge screen. But it might be actually true due to the fact that plenty of Android phones have 4 to 4.3 inch screens. The iPhone 5 is speculated to have a 4 inch screen while the iPhone 4S will have the same screen as the iPhone 4, 3.5 inch.
4. The iPhone 5 will probably have 1GB of RAM and a 8 megapixel main camera
   - In order to stay with the present time, Apple needs to prove themselves. So with all the top new phones be faster and with a better camera, it is only natural for the iPhone to follow suit.
5. Sprint will join the iPhone carrier to create the Trio
   - Sprint will join AT&T and Verizon and get the iPhone in its lineup. Sprint has the advantage with advertising the Unlimited and Uncapped data plan. I am sure it will cause for great competition in the beginning.
6. Voice to Text Features
   - Similar to the Siri-based application, iPhone 5 will again follow in the footsteps of Android and have a voice to text feature as well as other features.
7. iPhone 5 outer casing will remain the same.- The iPhone 5 will continue with its metal outer casing. It has been a trademark for iPhone to continue with this flashy type of casing so even though it will be larger, it should remain the same type of style.
8. Data Speed on steroids - 3x faster
   - By having the HSPA+ chip, the phone will have speeds up to 21 Mbps. That is 3x the download speed of the previous iPhones. It has close to 4G speeds but with 4G still not being wide spread, Apple doesn't want to release that feature yet (iPhone 6 in the future??)
9. iPhone 5 has been the world's top anticipated electronic- Hands down, iPhone 5 has been the most talked about with new rumors popping up everywhere daily. Never has the world seen such a demand.
10. Steve Jobs is not done being the Apple's CEO- Even though he is retired and is not well with a rare form of cancer, he will defiantly be around for his brilliant idea. His dream has become more than he would have ever imagined.

Verizon iPhone 4 for $120?!?!?

The International Business Times reported on Saturday, that iPhone 4 will be sold at all Verizon Stores and Online for $120!!!! This will occur though the end of the month (only until Friday) in order to clear inventory in preporation for the new iPhones!!!!

iPhone 5: AT&T - Check, Verizon - Check, Sprint - Check, T-mobile - ???

It looks like all the major mobile carriers will be receiving the iPhone 5 shortly, all but one. T-Mobile will not be getting Apple in their line up... well not this year at least.

“We are not going to get the iPhone 5 this year,” T-Mobile’s chief marketing officer Cole Brodman said in a town hall meeting on Monday.

Obviously the iPhone could be released next year for T-Mobile. But then others say that Apple is holding off due to AT&T take over (if the paperwork ever files..). Obviously T-Mobile doesn't want to dwell on not getting the next best thing since the VCR by statting they are focusing on their 4G phone lineup.

Sneak Peak of the iPhone 5 features!

There are many rumors going around, and with less than two weeks from when the iPhone 5 press conference will be held, here are some of the dirtiest features the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S could have.








Leaked Parts
A numerous number of leaked images of the partly disassembled guts of an updated iPhone have surfaced online.A few that stand out is the new A5 ARM CPU along with a different battery that was different from the iPhone 4. People swear its the new iPhone, but whether or not it is, only time will tell.


iPhone 4S
The iPhone 4S, a iPhone 4 on steroids, have been floating around the internet. It is believe to quickly be an alternative of the iPhone 5 at a price of $199.99 (because we all know us consumers are willing to pay that) and a $249.99 or $299.99 price range for the iPhone 5. Another way for Apple to such in a huge fan pool that just seems to keep on growing. JP Morgan confirmed the release of two new phone products upon release.
The iPhone 4S will probably have an upgraded antenna and world-phone capabilities. Due to the cheaper price, it might be used to target the pre-pay group while still being widely available.

Cases
The iPhone 5 case designs have leaked into the wild, having a fatter but thinner front to back chassis with a tapered profile and rumor, a 4 inch screen.
