Asus U31 ultrathin notebook coming soon in Europe

Asus U31

Asus is planning to launch U series of notebook Asus U31 in Europe. Asus U31 will be available in two models – Asus U31F and Asus U31JG. Asus U31 notebook has a 13.3 inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

Asus U31 notebook features an Intel’s Core i3-370M/380M or Core i5-460M processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB hard drive, 802.11bgn WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 3-in-1 card reader, Altec Lansing speakers, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 6 cell battery,
The main difference in U31F and U31JG notebook is in the graphics card as the U31F features Intel’s GMA 4500M while the U31JG features a NVIDIA GeForce 415M GT with 1GB of dedicated memory with Nvidia’s Optimus technology for automatic GPU switching.

Asus U31 will be available for the starting price of 799 Euros.
