ViewSonic has launched its new Android tablets,
Viewpad 7 and
Viewpad 10 with mobile phone functionality, computer and gaming capabilities in India.
Viewpad 7 has a 7 inch multi touch display and is powered by Android 2.2 OS and a 600 Mhz processor.
Viewpad 7 also features 3G, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS with AGPS support, 512 MB Internal Memory, 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, and built-in dual stereo speakers. ViewPad 7 measures 17.9cm x 11cm. At 1.15-cm in thickness, ViewPad 7 tablet claims to be the world’s slimmest, multi-touch tablet.
ViewSonic’s 10 inch Android tablet,
Viewpad 10 is powered by Android 1.6 OS and an Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor. Viewpad 10 comes with dual boot support, 1.3 megapixel camera, 1GB and 16GB SSD hard drive and micro SD card slot.
Viewpad 10 has a 10 inch LED display with 1024×600 resolution and dual operating system Window 7 and Android 1.6.

ViewPad 7 is priced at Rs 32,000 and
ViewPad 10 is priced at Rs 38,000. The tablets will be available in the leading retail stores by mid of January 2011.
