UPDATE: I along with the other million IPhone users have been hearing rumors for months now about the new Iphone 5 and iOS 5. Now, even with many creditable sources, Apple has yet officially announced when the new IPhone 5 will be released. There was earlier speculation of early September that Apple would hold a press release, but now entering the 3rd week of September a new date has been flying around the web on when their official press release will occur.
According to Pocketgamer, who has a reliable inside source, the IPhone 5 as well as the iOS 5 details will be release on October 5th. With the release of iOS 5 being on October 10th and the IPhone 5 being release October 15th. These dates were release by France Telecom's CEO as well as Orange Communication CEO.
