Want the newest, nicest and best Android available? Look no further with the Samsung Galaxy S II, which went on sale Friday through Sprint.
Both the Galaxy S II and its rival the Motorola Droid Bionic are very similar but the Galaxy S II has a slight edge. They are both 4G but the Galaxy S II is much more sleek, lighter and less expensive surprisingly compared to the Bionic. It is also much more classier and upscale.
The Droid Bionic sells for $300 on a two-year contract exclusively through Verizon Wireless. The Galaxy S II sells for $200 on a two-year contract through Sprint and will soon launch on T-Mobile and AT&T. An easy $100 in savings while having a much better plan with Sprint compared to Verizon.
They both have similar specs with dual-core processors, 16 GB memory, 8-megapixel cameras and large, sharp touchscreens.
Another big PLUS for the Samsung Galaxy S II is that it is a threat to Apple's iPhone 4. Click here if you want to see the story Apple is suing Samsung in the U.S., Europe and Asia in an attempt to get the Galaxy S II stripped for store shelves, alleging patent infringement. So if Apple is such a mighty brand, then why would they be worried about little ol' Samsung??? My opinion is that the threat is more of a reality that Apple is try to keep ahead, but is actually falling behind compared to other providers.
